RDS Dublin Horse Show 2016
Back home after a busy week at the Dublin Horse Show 2016 with 8 horses competing from Smyth Sport Horses. Stacey had 'NC Sky High' and 'Ramiro B Rivie' in the 4yo & 5yo section of the Young Event Horses classes, both horses finished in the top 12 after two days with 'NC Sky High' being sold - wishing her new owners the very best of luck and future success with her! Peter & Shane had a busy week in the National Jumping classes winning both 6yo Qualifiers, Wednesday & Friday on Templepatrick Welcome Limerick & CHS Krooze - Castle Courage Clover also in 6th to take all three horses into Sunday's '6yo Cruising National Championship' - which CHS Krooze went on to win! Derrycastle Sensation took 4th and 2nd place in both 4yo Qualifiers to earn her place in Saturday's National 4yo Championship where she finished in 3rd place! Saturday evening was the Land Rover Puissance in the main arena with Cavalier Rusticana jumping 2.15m to take 3rd place overall out of a strong 17 horse field! And to round off the show for anther year - being one of the two highest placed mares in their age classes Derrycastle Sensation and CHS Krooze where selected for the Pembroke Cup Broodmare Futurity class on Sunday afternoon were Derrycastle Sensation took Reserve Champion and CHS Krooze took 4th place out of 8 mares!
